This morning I woke up and noticed it was a little cold in the apartment. For some reason the heater had stopped working and the temperature was in the low-60's, even though the thermostat was telling it to be in the low-70's. So, with all of my knowledge of central heating systems I went down to the basement to have a look at it. I looked at the furnace for about 30 seconds to get my bearings straight. Then, of course, I gave it a light kick. I will never know how, but that kick immediately fixed the heater and the Duplex is no longer a frozen wasteland.
