Stages of Grief
At the beginning of the day I was going to write a post saying that I hate 1. America, 2. The Democratic Party and 3. 18-24 year olds (my demographic showed the country that no matter how high the stakes are, we don't care). Later in the day I just felt numb, and I finally accepted it. But, what I am supposed to do now?
Ignorance is Bliss Approach
While sitting in a daze in class I formulated this argument:
A. If I don't watch the news, I won't know what's going on.
B. If I don't know what's going on, I won't realize how bad things are.
C. If I don't realize how bad things are, I won't care.
So, when they start drilling in the Alaska wildlife "preserve," I won't even know it's happening (therefore, to me, it's not happening).
Is this a sound argument? Will this work for 4 years?
