Uninformed Predictions for 2006
1. Fidel Castro will die this year. Somebody not as bad, but still not very good will take his place.
2. The Democrats will lose the mid-term elections.
3. A plane crash will dominate the news for 2 weeks in May.
4. Iraq will look more peaceful by the end of the year.
5. This blog will continue to be neglected.
6. Texas will beat USC in the Rose Bowl.
7. A moderate earthquake will occur in Los Angeles in September.
8. The Colorado Rockies will win the World Series.

Through this website, via dedmonds, I found out that my much neglected blog is worth $2258.16. I can't figure what goes into this amount other than links, or maybe specific kinds of links. This raises some interesting questions, like how do I make this blog worth more, or less, or how do I sell this blog, or should I include the value of this blog when I am telling people how much I am worth.

My World: This is my last day to study for this test. I feel better about it, but I have this nagging feeling that the odds are against me. I hope that I can look back at this post someday and wonder why I was so worried about it. In the mean time my eyes will be watching God.
Actual World: I hate it when this happens:
"In the incident involving urine, which took place this past March, Southern Command said a guard left his post and urinated near an air vent and "the wind blew his urine through the vent" and into a cell block.
It said a detainee told guards the urine "splashed on him and his Koran." The statement said the detainee was given a new prison uniform and Koran, and that the guard was reprimanded and given duty in which he had no contact with prisoners."
It seems like everytime I pee next to a vent it sprays all over the people inside.

I have about 8 more days left to prepare for a test that will determine the course of my life. This may sound a little dramatic, but I believe it is true and this thought is shattering my ability to focus on my remaining tasks.

Million Dollar Baby is playing at the $2 theater right now. Usually I try to watch every Best Picture nominee, but there are some movies I have no desire to see whether it costs $6, $2 or nothing. This is apparently one of those movies. I'm just going to keep on assuming that the Aviator was the best movie of 2004.
